Why analog monitoring? Well, no matter how many people tell you that digital monitoring is fine, they are wrong. Digital monitoring will ALWAYS create a delay. Some people will try to tell you that it isn’t that much of a delay, but they are also wrong. It’s fine for live shows, but not acceptable for professional studio recording.
